    Lift with rims and tires, exhaust mirrors skid plate, whole interior sound system and head unit
    my truck is an 07 going on about 300k, she runs great and has no issues, new trans at 160, and new frame per toyota, everything has really be replaced on the truck execpt motor and the rear leafs lol. my main question is what should i look for going forward? my truck has been BABIED hard, oil every 3k and all services done early or right on time. im pretty sure i can get 500k but im just curious if anyones got any tips?

    I commonly see cheap 2nd gens on CL in area that need Tranny's at 430k an still run good , If maintained properly an It never gets into a wreck , there's a guy with 1 million mile's on his Tundra that Toyota traded him a new one for. so they could could take it apart an inspect it. :monocle:

    Why are the transmissions going bad? I'm at 150K on my 2001, no issues yet. Feels like it did the day it came off the lot.

Aftermarket halo headlights with HID, various LED bulb replacements. 17" Fuel Blitz wheels with some 33" Nitto terra grapplers. Hoodscoop, nfab nerfbars, Bushwacker flares. No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
    There's actually 2 07s out of the same dealership that have passed 1 mil miles. There's actually a youtube interview of the lady in charge of the maintenance of both trucks at the dealership. She didn't seem to recommend anything special that I remember, except changing the trans fluid every 120k or something like that.

    @Mr Badwrench automatic transmissions use friction disc (clutches) between steel cog shaped discs. As the valve body tells the oil (ATF) witch way to go it puts pressure on the clutch packs (gear) squeezing the friction disc in between that motion causes slight wear an over time it looses it friction material causing it not to grip to turn. Its a unavoidable part of a automatic transmission.

    keeping the fluid clean will help keep most of the derbrie from wear , out of the trans that will clog the oil pump causing no oil pressure/low oil pressure or could cause scaring of the plates causing faster wear. But other than that its just a mater of time before the trans needs a rebuild.

    my expiation doesn't include any of the new electronics an so forth
