I've had this truck for like 15 months and sitting here just now waiting for my Applebee's curbside pick up the sun was in my eyes so I put my visor down and went "Wait, wut? Why does it say slide? Slide what?"

Mind blown! There's been so many times where the sun was in my eyes but right in between my visor and the passenger visor.

    I can't believe I didn't know they moved!
I think I even complained cuz my last one had a little extender piece that slid out.

I miss having double visors. One fold down swing, one fold down fixed. A Ford thing I guess.

Sequoias got the double visor plus slide feature. Actually they got every option you could think of and you wouldn't even know until you bought a Tundra and discovered everything was missing.

Appreciate the info, will need to see if I can upgrade without too much effort.

Don't feel bad. I know lots of people that never knew the visors would slide. I had to tell my sister about it in her new Tundra after she complained about taking a 5 hour road trip with the sun coming in the driver window and the visor wasn't long enough to cover the back of the window. She was ecstatic when I showed her that it could slide back to block the sun.

    Had it on my 4Runner.
    Have it on my LX.

Those also have all auto up/down windows. Expected on the LX, but the 4Runner was an SR5…

The only more vehicle with a more egregious lack of features is the Custom trim level of Chevy trucks…you don’t even get radio controls on the steering wheel hahahahaha

Even our 10 year old Santa Fe has this "feature" (and it is lovely). Wife also had no idea until a few years ago when I reached over and moved hers because of the sun angle. I'm fairly certain that was the moment she remembered why she chose me. lol

I had over 200,000 miles on my truck before I learned that the steering column could telescope in and out.

Got mine from a 2010 Sequoia. Main visors were pretty dirty so I just kept my visors and added the fixed ones. They're okay, but not as useful as i thought they'd be.
