Hello everyone. My wife has a 2007 Tundra what the navigation system in it. Just recently the touch screen on it has started to get very hot to the touch and is unresponsive when it heats up. This has never happened in the past 4 years that we've owned it.

It happens after she's been listening to music for a while. She doesn't listen to music at his volume so it shouldn't be from too much output.

I was wondering if anyone knows what the issue might be? Is it time for a new head unit?

no idea but it is a 15 year old electrical unit, they dont last forever. If it gets really hot I would be concerned with it catching fire or melting components and would replace it.
