I installed the Hornblasters Stealth tire delete kit. I still have to do the electrical but everything else is done. As you can see it does not hang below the leaf springs. You can't see it from the rear and you can only see a little bit of the horns from the wheel well. Two key notes if you install one of these.

    1) Install the side with the 2 longer horns on the driver's side. This will keep from having interference with the tire guide on the passenger side.

    2) There is a tab on the hoist that sticks through one of the lug holes allowing you to put a lock on it. That tab will need to be cut off. I installed a lock through the chain once the kit was mounted.

I remember hornblaster from the days of Monster Garage. If you look hard enough I was on the original hornblaster website with my Silverado.

Just curious as to why you went with Hornblasters. I have the Kleinn TUN-734 which is a bolt on and I got to keep my spare.

I was looking at the same kit from Kleinn. Its now discontinued according to an email they sent me. Also it wont work with dual exhaust. Kleinn says they “may” have another vehicle specific kit coming in late 2023.

Do you plan to just keep the spare in the bed? I chose to put a compressor and tank in the bed and will mount horns in front of the radiator when I have the time. Going to use Handle horns.

I've been wanting a Hornblasters kit ever since I heard one. The Kleinn horns are exquisite but the price they want is equally exquisite. I've personally experienced HB's customer svc and can vouch for it. Good nuff for me.

You're just now coming to this realization? ;)

Seriously though...yeah, I plan on doing something like this someday. I almost NEVER use my horn, but while I don't plan on getting this kit, I'd like something with a bit more oomph behind it than the stock horn. If someone has cut me off in traffic, endangered my safety, etc., I have zero problem startling them with a loud horn. *shrug*

I think I'd like the "Mother Trucker" horn instead. :D I don't need a gigantic system, but if I have to get on the horn - which is almost never - I want it to be noticeable. LOL

Yeah, I will say that while I have no problem having a loud horn...I'm not going to break the law to do it. Will have to check to see what the laws are where I live.

My buddy had the Nightmare or Conductor (can't remember) and he hardly ever used it. He ended up selling it. Was hella loud and sounded awesome though.

Looks like the only laws where I live are...that you have to have a horn. It doesn't say anything about being too loud. The only thing it DOES seem to allude to is that you use it for warning purposes only and not for 'making noise' - e.g., I assume they mean you can honk once or twice (which is what I do) but not lean on the sucker for 5 seconds. LOL

I don't want a train horn; I just want a horn with a bit more behind it than the stock horn is all.
