    With the cement colored hood bulges being back ordered for well over a year now, I finally broke down and ordered an Ebay - non Toyota one.

    I read somewhere that people were replacing the fasteners with some heavier duty ones when having issues with them coming lose at highway speeds, etc???

    I'd like to do everything I can to give this sweet Chinese knock off every opportunity I can to survive.

    Does this ring a bell to anyone? Or does anyone know what I'm talking about and happen to have a part # by chance?

    Those bolts will not prevent it from coming off if the clips fail.
