I am replacing my older craftsman garage door openers with Chamberlain 970T(s). I use Homelink in my 07, but alas it is apparently not compatible. I can either get two Homelink bridges at around $35/each or I could just change my mirror ot a 2011+ tundra mirror which would be cheaper. My question is this... It the homelink functionality contined in the mirror itself or is it wired to some remote pcb? Will just swapping the mirror work?
    Thanks.

Not sure if this would be cheaper, but just another option. The remote was 20 bucks and the switch another 20 bucks. It's just a simple momentary switch with 2 wires soldered to the the switch on the remote..

That looks ccol. Since I have a homelink mirror already (just not a "2.0" version) I'd like to keep the functionality up there. Besides, I think I have used all my button locations. . Ha!
    Thanks for the idea though.

I hear ya! I have the homelink also, but my Son's 4runner didn't have homelink and he didn't want a remote on his visor, Lol
