HOLY SHIT THE BEEPS ARE GONE

    THE BEEPS ARE GONE!

I loved this truck except for the beeps/bings/safety reminders. Don’t know where y’all live, but my N.C. Hendrick dealer refused to change the settings for me. Yeah.

So I found a couple threads here (thanks @Cement and others) and got the Carista thing for $20.

    Thank you Tundras.com

    More

Since, I’ve had discussions with co-workers about buzzes/warnings in autos, and maybe it’s tied to our culture of having too much shit to see:

    - IG
    - Facebook
    - Snapchat
    - Text
    - social media in general
    - Work email
    - Personal email
    - Skype
    - Teams
    - Calls from whomever that you don’t answer

The last thing I want in a truck, as my head is constantly on a swivel, is another beep/zap about something I’m supposed to already recognize, as I’ve obtained a license to operate this thing.

Then there’s: Liability, safety, companies mitigating risk, etc.. I get that too, its a big safeguard for folks that need it.

I appreciate you guys for the open dialogue on alternatives for this kind of thing. I’ll keep reading.

Fred Anderson in Raleigh would have taken care of this for you....

Wouldn’t even get on any Rick Hendrick lot...had a very bad experience. Went straight to Fred Anderson and couldn’t be happier.
