Hello all. It’s been a while since I’ve been on here as I haven’t had a tundra in my possession. Currently I’m driving a 2019 F-150 3.5 ecoboost. My previous tundras included an 05 and a 2020 lease. I’ve been wanting to get back into a tundra for some time but just never find the deal I want. I tend to switch vehicles around ALOT… lol. I actually just picked the F-150 up about a month ago. I was driving past the dealer that I got the F-150 at and decided to stroll on through. I came across a 2018 1 owner double cab trd OR model with 70k miles for 32k. It has what looks to be a 3/2 ready lift and 305/70/18 tires on the stock OR wheels. My current F-150 has 46k miles and I do enjoy it but I do miss a tundra. I could go for a much newer year with less miles but for 32k I think it’s a fair deal. Plus I believe I have about 10+k in equity on my current F-150. What do you think, worth the switch?

OME Nitrocharger/2612 (front), Bilstein 5100s (rear). Vanguard roll bar modified (by me) to fit over Patriot Stealth retractable tonneau. Aftermarket halo headlights with HID, various LED bulb replacements. 17" Fuel Blitz wheels with some 33" Nitto terra grapplers. Hoodscoop, nfab nerfbars, Bushwacker flares. No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
Ford to Toyota... that's pretty much a no-brainer.

Do it and don’t look back…but we’re almost all Toyota biased here. If the Ford works for you then keep it unless you like the deal for the tundra. If the Ford gives you issues then fix it and trade it in. If you get new vehicles a lot can’t hurt to wait for the next Gen tundra either.

the f150 is a more feature rich, subjectively “nicer” truck. I do love the tundras. And if the numbers are what I think they would be I imagine I’d pocket a bit of money too

Hurry up and go back and make the deal before it's sold.

If you switch vehicles a lot as you say in you post I say it is not worth getting the Tundra.

The new and used markets are crazy right now too, you'll get more money on your trade but you'll pay more for your new vehicle.

If you can manage it I would sell now and buy later.

Get the Tundra, you know you want too, you just came here for reassurance and we are giving it to you! Besides, you said you've had that Ford for a month... that's like half its life expectancy!

Hahaha looking at the deal I would pocket $4000. The mileage of the tundra (70k) doesn’t really bother me but at the same time it does slightly. I am experiencing some watergate rattling with the f150. Granted that’s not a mechanical failure but more of a nuisance and sounds terrible. Ford has a bandaid for it that either works or it doesn’t. Sometimes they replace the turbos but most dealers won’t do that

Your on a Tundra forum and ask if you should get a Ford. What are you expecting to hear.
Join a Ford forum and get the exact opposite answer

Ford has forums? I didn't realize they were literate. Crazy me . I just assumed when you bought a Ford they programmed a list of towing companies and wrecking yards into your phone...
