I searched but did not find answers.

I am looking for an OEM or OEM equivalent replacement windshield for my 2007... I also want to replace the rubber trim pieces and seals associated with windshield replacement with OEM Toyota parts.

    Thank you.

I prefer Pilkington, which is what a lot of Toyota’s came with. Second choice is PPG.

Does your insurance cover windshield replacement? To get OEM equivalent, you will need to go through a local glass company. OEM will be almost impossible to get. DO NOT go through Safelite.

That's the brand that was recommended a few years ago, but I could not recall the name. Thank you!

I do have windshield coverage, but I don't know if they will cover an old windshield that is sand blasted and pitted but not cracked - I will research that.

What about the trim pieces and seals?

I had my windshield replaced recently due to sandblasting. I have state farm. They covered it minus the deductible.

Crappy installs and they use Chinese branded glass.
