My 13 Rock Warrior gets a shimmy when braking, pretty much only higher speed, like 45+, not so much at low speed. Could be brake rotors?

If it only happens when you hit the brakes, look for a rotor or two beginning to warp.

I had the same thing. It was just uneven brake wear with really low pads. New brake pads and resurface and I was good to go.

    Cool. Thanks.
That's kinda what I thought. Hopefully nothing worse.

Warped brake rotors. Common, cheap problem.

Dont think it's the rotors. No pulsating at the pedal. If cruising at 60+ I feel a slight shaking in the wheel. If I hit the brakes it gets worse, then as speed reduces it goes away.

    Mmmhm.

The slight shaking in the wheel at 60 is the tires.
The wheel shakes gets worse when you hit your brakes because your brakes are bad and the frequency of the shake slows down because the vehicle is slowing down.

^^^^This^^^ I believe Scuba is spot on.

Maybe try a balance and rotate at your local tire shop, might just take that shimmy away. Worth a shot before investing in new tires. If you feel the shimmy before touching the brakes then it likely is not the rotors/pads. It could be, but it's less likely.

    Best of luck!
