High RPM at idle?

    What RPM does everyone show at idle?

    My truck seems high at 1,200 RPM when I start it up which seems cause a hard bump when I shift into gear.

    Is that RPM normal?

    That seems normal if it's cold outside. It should come down to around 800RPM once the engine warms up.
