Maybe this has been answered, I looked but didn’t see, how do you engage a hidden winch?

I’m looking at the SDHQ winch mount to retain my stock bumper with sensors. I have a Smittybilt X20 from my previous truck, and the unit is wireless. But how do you engage the winch?

I think I’m going to have to relocate the controller, which will likely give me access should I need to plug in the remote.

Have the same set up. You can access all of the winch functions with the hood up.

Do you have a photo of that by chance? Where did you locate the controller?

I do not. If I think of it I'll get one, I've gotta a ton on my plate, so don't wait around for a pic. If you're looking at the truck from the front, the controls are mounted on the left side of the winch. opposite the clutch.

When you said you have the same setup, are you using the Smittybilt winch or a warn?
