I noticed tonight when I was under the rear of the truck that there is a lot dead space between the bed liner and the body panel. I was thinking that would be a great place for a air pump. I also did not want leave it exposed to the elements.

I was wondering if anyone has found any storage options for the bed in the new 3rd gen? I was thinking kinda like the Tacoma has in the 13-15 years, had the hidden storage box in the bed.

    Looking for suggestions.

Someone on here installed a compressor in there, looked like a great set up.

These all great ideas. I will have to study the one from graf_von_tundra suggested.

Kinda hope to find a enclosed box for the space. But each of these will get me there.

I’m glad to answer questions. There’s a lot of little details, so feel free.

OP .. does your ARB Compressor cause a rattle with your fender ? I’m concerned about aluminum fenders being close to the ARB when it’s on .

I’m not the OP, but I can share that my install does not rattle while driving or during operation.

It’s been almost two years since I installed it, and I’ve not had to do anything to it. I’ve been very happy every time I just push a button and plug in the air hose.

That’s good to know. I’m planning on installing the wifey system from Rago Fab. Will the fender have enough room for the extra fittings ? How’s the access to the ARB ?

The setup below will fit but you’ll want to move the gauge and coupling so that they’re usable.

Access takes getting down and reaching around the tailpipe to get to the filters. I wouldn’t call it fun or exactly easy but it’s very doable for how often you need to.

This is looking in the finder well through the taillight opening. There’s a good amount of room. So much, I’ve been thinking about adding a small air tank.

    Great idea
Are there any other posts just storage? Enclosed cubby type? Something for small tools, straps, etc.
