I recently installed a new water pump and had to remove a lot to get to it even the timing belt it’s installed too I lined everything up to the marks and all matched and finished the job and turned the key and no crank only a micro sound clicking.
I checked all relays and all fuses all good I have a new battery on it reading 12.60 plus volts ..I had a mechanic come charging 25.00 for full diagnostic check and said it was the starter so I put a new starter ..
I have head lights on strong ,radio, heater ac blowing strong ..
Truck will not start with a boost or anything.

Solid battery connections? Sounds like possibly a loose terminal

Here's a little test. With the lights on inside the cab, do the lights dim when you turn the key to start the engine?

Well that means there's a problem before the starter, as they would dim with a draw on the starter itself.

Very possible. Non dim means the starter isn’t drawing power. Could be the starter relay too

Its strange that this problem only occurred after the recent work you did. Did you have to unplug any major harnesses when you did the work?

Unplugged and replugged every sensor every connection .
    Battery terminal good .
Ac compressor and alternator remained plugged .
No major wire harness was disconnected.

I did , after installing the water pump ,changed the valve cover gaskets .
I had to remove the coils for that but all coils are back in place

I'm not completely familiar with any 2005's, but do they have any anti-theft protection?, and also, did you try to start the truck in neutral rather than just park?

Anti-theft - that's a good suggestion. Perhaps the battery in the FOB is dead. Just thinking. Probably not something that simple though. Obviously if you can lock/unlock the doors, the FOB is good.

Something to try is disconnect the battery, put your key in the ignition to on, reconnect the battery and then try to start it. Affermarket alarm can cause this issue

After lining up & installing the new timing belt, after tensioning the belt & before putting it all back together, did you rotate then engine by hand to make sure the valves werent running into the pistons?
