Hi!! Has anyone done this?

Hi!! I recently got a 2008 Tundra with a 4.0L V6 4dr Base pickup. I got on this forum to see if anyone has put a supercharger on one yet. I find it hard to believe that no one has, 16 years after it came out. And, especially since they are available for Tacomas.

You probably could put on the single overhead cam 4.0 magnuson supercharger with some modifications to the peripheral type parts (like hoses would be slightly different shapes etc). You’d likely be running the original tune you have though, unless you got a third party system to tune as the bully dog one that comes with that kit won’t work. The 6-7k cost for the kit though you could just switch to a 5.7 and have more hp anyways, that’s why I sold my 4.6 for a 5.7.
