    Hey everybody,

    New Tundra owner (really new Toyota anything owner) here from Colorado Springs. I have owned Fords and Chevys in the past, but this Tundra is by far the best truck so far. Not that I think the others suck, this truck just seems like it was made for me. I bought my truck about 10 days ago and have been lurking here for about 2 or 3 weeks doing research.

    I like my trucks pretty basic so I went with the CM SR5 in super white (best color, btw) and opted for the TRD O/R package because 1- thats all they had on the lot (for SR5s) and 2- I figured the resal value would be a little better.

    I got the dealer to throw in tow mirrors (waiting for them to arrive) and a block heater since we're moving to Alaska this winter.

    Other than that mods include:

    - I debadged as soon as I got home from the dealer
    - am picking up a Toytec/Eibach 3/1 lift tomorrow with the AAL instead of the block (thanks for answering all my questions David!)
    - Dropping my wheels off tomorrow to get powder coated black
    - bought some Cooper STT Pros 295/70 18 tires that will hopefully be on my truck by this weekend.

    In the future I'd like to dechrome and add the TRD Pro grille, 12volt remote start, and Katzkin leather seats. I did the Katzkins on my wife's Grand Cherokee and on my F150, but it sounds like these trucks have hog clips so I'm not sure if I wanna try that myself yet. We'll see.
