Need help on this one! My "05" Tundra, 4X4, 4.7 I injured something in my front left suspension, foolishly making a strong U-turn on pavement! I've changed my steering rack and lower control arms (they needed it anyway)but the problem still exists! Symptom is when turning wheel left for a 45 degree turn or more and light to strong acceleration, my steering grabs (almost locks) and I have to pull it out of turning left! Not a good thing! Has anyone had this same problem and know the answer to fixing it? Graciously looking for the fix, thanks kindly folks!

Welcome and greetings from Minnesota. You might want to check out the “ask a Toyota mechanic” thread for your answer.

Also, maybe make sure that you aren’t locked in 4wheel drive. You should be able to manually turn the front drive shaft if you crawled under and try.
