Hey Ya’ll from Kentucky!

Hello! I’m a long time Toyota brand owner (Corolla, Highlander, Camry) but first time Tundra owner. Unfortunately, this is due to inheriting my recently deceased brothers beloved first gen 2002 Toyota Tundra. It’s the SR5 edition with the V8. It’s a great running truck! Not the prettiest thing but runs great and We plan on using it recreationally for baseball and camping etc.

I have a few things I plan on doing with the truck: replacing interior / acc lights with LED, replacing the radio. Restoring the trim and she needs a new paint job as she’s dealing with some top coat peel. I’ve already encountered an issue with dash lighting if someone wants to direct me to a thread or weigh in. Otherwise, I look forward to learning more about other issues and mods that First Gen Tundra owners are encountering!

I did take a quick look in the first gen forum for my specific issue but didn’t see anything In the first few pages. Randomly, I was able to figure it out after posting this and it was stupid simple lol. So officially completed the first mod of replacing the oem with LED lighting on my instrument panel and center console and interior lighting. Moving on to the back up camera and stereo!
