Hey Toyota is Muted

How do I unmute Hey Toyota?

 

It's an option in the steering wheel control settings menu.

 

Thank you, I finally figured it out but I’m still not sure how to correct it, if happens again.

 

Have you found anything useful that the Toyota voice interface does? Just curious if there are any useful features.

 

I have had 3 vehicles with these things, 2015 Canyon, 2016 Subaru Crosstrek, 2022 Toyota Tundra. I have tried them all 2 times and never bothered once again, although Toyota pops in all the time thinking I summoned her. These native systems are garbage, Android and Apple are light years better.

 

I do find it useful for tuning in a radio station. Just push the button on the steering wheel and say "tune 92.5 fm" and it does it. No need to say hey toyota. But that's all I've ever used it for.

 

Just ask Toyota to unmute itself lol

 

When I try and talk to my toyota, I get the silent treatment. #rejection.
