    2014 MGM Tundra SR5
Hey there, from Jacksonville, FL. I've been a longtime lurker here but decided to sign up today. It took about 8 years of financial recovery from an irresponsible younger life, but last year, I finally saved up and did it. I bought my dream truck, a Toyota Tundra. At first, I was convinced I would buy a higher end trim, latest model, but soon realized, what I wanted in a truck had very little to do with the higher end luxuries that the Platinum and 1794 trim offered. So I went with what I could afford, a 2014 Metallic Gray SR5 CrewMax 4x4, and I planned on doing the upgrades myself. Since buying it, I have slowly added Bilstein 5100's, 275/70r18 Falken tires, Undercover bed cover, and recently a Platinum grill w/ MGM surround. BTW, a good deal on an MGM hood bulge is damn near impossible to find. Although its been almost a year of ownership, I'm still running on the new (new to me) truck feeling and look forward to reading through the posts here to figure what I want in my truck AND how to do it. Stay frosty...

Hard work pays off my man!! Great looking truck. I am going to end up with the Bilstein 5100’s and some 275/70r18 Wildpeaks as well so... some questions -

    1. Does it freakin rub?

    2. Ride quality over stock better or worse? (I’m hoping/guessing better)

    3. A leveled Tundra with 33” Wildpeaks is pure sex. Not a question.

    4. How much did it cost to have the Bilsteins installed? (If you don’t mind)

    5. How bad was the mpg hit?

    Thank you and welcome!

Sorry for not responding sooner CCLJO3.
    1. No rubbing, after removing the small forward flaps in the front wheel well. (What the hell are those for anyways?)
    2. Noticeably better ride vs. stock. A lot less bounce and sway.
    3. Truth... although that might change in the future.
    4. I installed the rear 5100s myself, but the shop charged a little under $200 for the fronts with alignment.
    5. I usually got around 15.2 mpg stock, now I run in the low 14's. But I admit I haven't recalibrated the speedometer for the larger tires and... I've been driving a little faster off the line lately. :bikewheelie2:

    Thanks and regards...

That is all very good news!! I’m sure I’ll be a little bit heavy footed after those kind of improvements as well haha
