Hey Guys. New to this. I have a 2012 Tundra Base truck. It isn't equipped with intermittent wipers.

Does anyone know if I can upgrade to intermittent wipers?

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! Not sure about the upgrade options, but we have a couple of Toyota technicians that could probably give you guidance. Reach out to @Ruggybuggy if he doesn't respond to this post.

Just swap the wiper switch stalk to the intermittent one, and you’ll be laughing. You don’t have to remove the steering wheel, just the column covers. (I’m pretty sure you can turn the steering wheel to access the 2 screws in the column covers behind it).

I did this in my Tacoma, and it’s easy.

Welcome aboard from The Pacific South West.
I've not had a vehicle in recent times that came from the factory without intermittent wipers.
My Tundra's a stripper and it has them.

    5 minute job for me.
New intermittent stalk and a screwdriver.
Still can not understand this myself?

So the STALK controls the wipes speeds and intermittency?!? If only every functional mod were that easy!
