Has anyone here had success using the Hewitt AIP bypass on a second gen where the ecm has been reflashed? Their FAQ mentions that the only models that could be a problems are the 2012-2013’s that had a Reflash under a limited service campaign.

I’m wondering if anyone here has had real success on it. I’m looking to do mine as preventative on, no problems as of yet.

Originally my 2007 5.7 4x4 went into limp mode and I had an active P02442 code. Dash lights flashing, low power, etc.

I installed the Hewitt bypass on my truck & have had no issues since. During my research, I found that my truck had had an ECM reflash performed at the dealer by the previous owner. Again, I've had no issues since installation.

That’s great to hear that it worked. Thanks!
