Hesitation randomly, only mid RPM on mid grade

2016 SR5 4.6L 144,780 miles started to buck and shake going uphill about 1300 rpm. Step on throttle a bit more comes out of it runs great. Today it started shaking and the CEL came on flashing. Pulled over shut it off drove home CEL off ran fine. Truck is always serviced on time everything is done. Anyone else experienced this behavior. Making appointment to local dealer Monday.

 

Check air filter...if that's clean, pull a plug and check, if you haven't swapped plugs at your mileage yet...if those are good...look for mouse damage...which completely sucks to do as they tend to be a PITA to remedy and locate....

 

Thank you plugs were done this past summer still looked new. Generally clean filters spring and fall. I drive 45 minutes each way to work. Will look under the hood tomorrow. My scanner all of a sudden don't connect figures the one time I need it.

 

Got it I think. There's 2 barb fittings on the intake tube from the airbox right before the MAF sensor they were loose, I tightened them up ran perfectly today. Sucking air just funny how picky it was.
