Helwig EZ-990 HELPER SPRING KIT - Great Mod!

I'm sure this has been mentioned here before but I'd like to give a quick shot out to Helwig for their EX-990 Helper spring kit for our 2.5 gen Tundras. I have been driving my 2020 for about 25K miles and after installing a topper and decked drawer system, I noticed the truck would bottom out over dips and larger bumps on the road. Unfortunately I think Toyota made the rear springs too soft for our trucks and was looking for a quick and easy way to improve the truck.


I rolled the dice and ordered a set of Helwig's helper springs. I was able to install them quickly and I noticed an immediate improvement in ride and handling for my truck. I often drive up mountiain roads and with the helper springs the ride is firmer and much more confident in corners. If you are on the fence about helper springs please do yourself a favor and get them. I wish I installed these back when I bought my truck.
