    Hi all,

I recently bought a tundra earlier this year so I am new to this forum. I love all the useful information, thank you all.

I purchased a set of bronze Fuel Shok D666 18x9 +20mm offset. I have been going back and forth on deciding a tire size. I have narrowed my tire brand/model decision between the Toyo Open Country R/T and the Nitto Ridge Grappler. I have a 2" front level kit on the truck right now (stock rear), but I plan on doing the 6112/5160 kit later this year.

By biggest confusion right now is deciding on what size to go with I am between:
    33x12.5r18
    285/70r18
    285/65r18

I love the look of the 12.5 width tire but i wanted to make sure this fitment would be do-able with my offset with slight modifications. I dont mind losing the mud flaps but I would like to avoid a BMC. Any inputs? I hate to make another "will this fit" thread but I cant seem to find a solid answer by searching :)

    O

I would probably run the 285/70/18 on that setup. It's about an inch taller than those other two, and will still give you decent width on the rims and truck.

Another vote for 285/70/18. You shouldn't have many rubbing issues, only slight trimming of fender liners usually

Awesome, thanks guys. I see you both are running the 275/70/18's. Does it seem like there is a lot of clearance left for 285/70's? I've read that numerous people run the 285/70 set up no problem on stock wheels. I'm hoping my offset wont be an issue.

I could likely clear them on my 08 with my 2” spacer, possibly minor rubbing on the fender but not sure. For what I’m running, the 275/70/18 is the best bang for my buck in terms of size and price.
