Strange plastic rattle noise, only audible 30-40mph, mostly when slowing down.
I would say coming from the dash in front of driver seat, but hard to pin point.

Has anyone else witnessed this? Any ideas?

    Thank you,

I have a clicking noise that seems to come from the drivers side A pillar. Mine seems to be temperature related (noise appears when temp is below 65)and when going over small bumps. It’s been driving me crazy and I have been unable to find the source.

    Lots of stuff!
ARCOVT23, We have a strange noise coming from the dash on the VW. It is one of the mixing doors to the HVAC system trying to close. What usually happens is a bit of the insulation or something else gets trapped in the door area preventing the door from closing and it makes a noise like a little servo running periodically. Thats my guess! Try switching the HVAC settings to something different and see if the noise changes.

I've started the process of getting my dash fixed or replaced depending on what the tech decides because I have a squeaking noise. Apply pressure right where my finger is in the picture below and see if it goes away or push on it repeatedly to see if the noise is replicated.
