Have 2015 tundra. Was sitting in it with it running and then it just bogged down and died. Had it towed to buddies barn and replaced the fuel pump. Still turning over with no start after new pump. Had someone come look at it and he said it was the Fuel pump control module. He bypassed the plug and it fired right up. Bought a new module and tried it today and it fired first try. Turned it off and was gonna take it on a test drive and back to square one with no start.

How many miles? I would've probably started with plugs tbh. With it on, bogging and dying, could say battery as well.

It seems that a common problem is the pins on the connector for the fuel pump module loosen up and create intermittent problems.

Yes, this. And with mine, the connector to the alternator was loose and the battery went bad on top of everything. Repaired the connector and replaced the battery and no issues since.
