Hi forum members, I need some help because I'm going crazy. I bought a used set of the TRD aluminum running boards for less than half price of new. P/N PT767-34220. Everything is fine, except one of the mounting brackets is cracked.

I've been to my Toyota dealer, I've searched the internet, and I cannot find a replacement bracket. I've been able to find every other running board bracket for replacement, but I cannot locate the TRD aluminum step brackets. Does anybody have any ideas?

    Lots of stuff!
Do you have access to a local fabricator/shop that can fix the broken bracket?

I had all my brackets made to fit my custom running boards and that wasn't too bad to make them from scratch. I am sure a good fabricator can fix it up.

Not to sound like an idiot, but what would the name of fabricator shop be referred to as? I've never been to one, so I'm sure what to look for. I'm sure we have them here in the Phx area.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if Westcott could do it? They fabricate a lot of their own stuff.

Can you post a pic of the bracket that has the issue? Have you already removed it from the board?

What's the part number stamped to the bracket?

Can't you bring it to a welder and have them weld the crack? You could even try a muffler shop to have them weld it.

It's aluminum, I would have to find a place that welds aluminum. It would be easier if friggin Toyota could sell a bracket for it like every other step they sell. Hell, I even found replacement powered brackets for the power running boards, but not this one.

Folks at Toyota said the numbers on the bracket aren't part numbers, thus the issue I'm having. Toyota doesn't even show this bracket on any part diagrams, only ones they show are the powered brackets or regular brackets for all of their other running boards.

I found mobile welder with great reviews that welds aluminum. I'll give him a call tomorrow to see if he can help. Thanks for the ideas folks!
