I just installed these and upon getting in the cab I hear a clicking noise.

UPDATE: Headlights working! High-Beams not working.

Your battery isn't hooked up well enough. Clean the connections and clamp it more.

I'll try that now. I never disconnected the battery though and terminals aren't dirty

Undo what you did. If the truck is back to normal? start reinstalling one connection at a time to find the problem?

Check fuses then. Either you unplugged something or burnt a fuse out.

Had to be the fuse. Disconnecting battery can save so much headache whenever you are doing something electronical.

Okay, got the headlights completely disconnected and out. Truck has no headlights at the moment.

Checked some ignition/starter fuses and looked good.

Had to jump the truck to get it to start. Why would it the install of the Morimoto XB headlights killed the battery?

The battery was less than a year old. I let the truck run for 5 min. And it started back up. I'll try to hook up the headlights again and update

And it's working now!!! Thank you all for the advice.

I think it was a complete coincidence that I installed the headlights and battery was dead. I jumped it, let it run, reinstalled headlights and start up everything worked. I'll post updated pictures tomorrow

Was the door(s) open while you install the headlights? That may explain your battery was dead. Interior lights.

Update lights look great! However High-Beams not working. I'll go back and check the plugs but any other troubleshooting advice?

Check fuses, there is a reason they tell you to disconnect the battery first. Common problem

Weird I didn't see to disconnect the battery on the video online or in the directions. All fuses look good. High-beams still not working.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but did you ever resolve your high beam issue Zia? I just installed the same headlights in my 2010, and everything works great except the high beams won't come on. And like you, I didn't see anything in the installation pdf or the video about disconnecting the battery first. I'm going to check the fuse though and see if that blew. My fogs are fine though (not morimoto).

About to install these Morimoto v2.0 headlights and I bought the non-DRL relay. Anyone know where it goes?
