Normally I’m able to identify the connectors and clips by the tiny 5 digit number embossed on them. This one is too far gone and I’ve not found it in the EPC. Can anyone give me a part number for this? Thanks

Hey Bryan, is it possibly one of the three I've boxed here? I can't really tell the shape of what's there. It's pretty mangled.

Thanks @shifty` - the oval on the bracket measures approximately 6mm by 12mm. Any chance you can take a photo of that clip if your truck has the same clip so I can see what an intact one looks like.

I'm away from the truck at the moment. Not 100% sure my VVTi 2UZ will have same bracket but will look when I can.

Thanks @shifty`. I have a neighbor with a 2002 but she’s Not home either. Seems I also misplaced the little bolt that holds the big gray engine harness plastic box to the starter. I think it’s a standard M8 bolt with a captive washer and I was packing up my tools in a hurry when the thunderstorm hit. Hoping this is it.upload_2025-8-3_16-47-45.jpg

Is this the clip you’re talking about? Top of the drivers side timing belt cover?
    IMG_1006.jpg
Has 10 13 on the top. The one on the second row from the bottom that’s marked in the diagram Shifty posted looks right.

@Upshot Knothole - that might be it. Can you zoom out a little. The big numbers 10 and 13 generally refer to the ID of the clamp in mm. There should also be tine 5 digit number indicating the part number but it may be under or on the side - can you see any such number?

I looked briefly but couldn’t see one. I’ll check again in a little bit and report back.

I looked again and tried taking a couple more photos, without removing it I don't think I'll be able to see a part number on it.

I think you may just need to pop the clip open, I think it's potentially on the inside edge of the connector but may be wrong.

If the clip breaks while trying to open it, it's getting replaced with a zip tie.

Can’t see a part number on it. Didn’t bring any tools with me so I didn’t try removing it from the bracket.

Now that I look at it on my laptop I see the numbers on the inside of the clip. I apparently didn't put enough spit on my finger to get them legible. I'll try again.

Best I can do. I tried looking up the number, but not finding anything with a quick google search.

Think I found it. Baseball game is over so I'm done sitting here searching for it.
