    Hey all,

It’s been a while but back with an issue. After waiting months for it to cool down & have some time off, I finally got around to installing the heritage grill & chrome deleting the Tundra.

The issue? Now I’ve got airbag & lane departure warnings. I already have my 10K appointment at a dealership on Friday but was looking to see if there was anything I could do beforehand to get these errors to go away.

All the connections are there & good to go. Not sure what I did wrong…

    Thanks! 128FF7F4-EEE5-40D3-B1D7-B42959B9670A.jpgB7E92B1E-87E1-4A93-8990-24F3E767324F.jpg

Did you try removing battery negative terminal for a few min and recheck?

I’m going to attempt that tomorrow if the errors don’t clear.

Does it just need to be the negative terminal or disconnect the battery all together?

Did you turn the ignition on with the front harness unplugged after removing the front end. Sometimes if it sets the lights off you have to drive the vehicle over 40mph for a few to reset. Happens when we change batteries on Toyota/Lexus vehicles will set off park assist and pre collusion lights.

i didn’t. I actually waited until I had the back chrome delete done before I turned the truck on. I know all the connections are good but a tech (on another forum) mentioned that it might have been due to me having the key inside the vehicle during all of this. Not sure how true that is but I’ve driven about 15 minutes so far (over 40 MPH) for most of it & it hasn’t cleared.

I’ll probably pull the battery tomorrow & see if that does the trick.

Mine happened right out of the gate. So I would assume you’ll be fine.

Yes, keys left in or nearby can keep the modules awake. People have had same issues with keys left in vehicle during lift install.

I’ll probably do the battery trick tomorrow & try to drive around a little more than normal to see if that does the trick. Sounds dumb but I’d rather not have these lights on as an issue when I go get my 10K maintenance done on Friday.

I think Westcott Designs has a Youtube Video discussing the keys left in the truck too.
