Hi all! First time posting here, I appreciate all the knowledge I've received from this forum over the past year.
My issue is with my 2010 5.7 Crewmax. It dumped all the power steering fluid yesterday. I found the issue, but I'm not sure what the line is called. It seems to make a loop to 3 places. The leak itself is within an inch of where the line comes off the front of the steering rack. It appears to run towards the driverside where it goes into ( and possibly) out of the rack again. And then doubles back following the other line past the leak to the passenger side. I'm not sure if I'm capable of this repair myself, I'm a decent (ski lift) mechanic, but might not have the proper tools to reach some of these spots. Looking for what this line is called as well as any input to a repair procedure. Thank you all for your time.
    Jason

Check TSB online you will probably fall under the power steering repair.

Like a recall, but they repair any damaged system that is under a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB). An example they repaired my driver side window switch in '16 after it stopped working. They replaced it for free99. Currently there is a TSB on power steering, don't remember what parts. If you look them up shoukd be between 2007-2020.

I figured I would post one more time to close out this question. The line that is in question here is called a crossover line or transfer line. They come installed on the steering rack. I ended up going through linestogo.com to purchase the ready to install line, rather than trying to fabricate my own. For the 2 stainless steel lines, it was 130.00. While this was a bit expensive, the lines showed up in less than 48 hours, and I was very happy with the fitment. Access to the driver side connections were done through the wheel well.
