I’m looking at buying a 2018 tundra with a supercharger, but was hoping someone could help me identify the exhaust they have on it. It has the TRD exhaust tips and I think it’s the full TRD system, but I looked underneath because it sounded louder and I saw this:

Anyone have an idea what I’m looking at? Here’s a pic of the mufflers too if that helps: B39FA337-AFBB-4008-B9AF-B9C44A3D09DB.jpg

Ah ok, that's good to know. Is it just as simple as installing a flat plate on there?

Yeah it is pretty loud. I actually like the sound of it with the supercharger, but am a little afraid it would get annoying after a while or on long trips when towing. Thanks for the info, I'll check out that actuator.

Yessir. Just use a gasket or rtv. If it doesn’t leak, it’s installed correctly.

I would follow Keith's advice and just block it off. I had a cutout on my drag car. It seemed to always leak or get stuck half way. I ended up taking it off and just enjoyed the Corsa exhaust.
