This is below the driver’s seat area. It’s some kind of heat shield but the bolts holding it together have rusted out. Anyone help me Identify the part so I can replace it?

    thanks.

Part of the exhaust. I had that happen on my 4runner and used a couple stainless steel clamps like this to re-secure....been fine for years since. I am not sure that you can purchase just the heat shield. When they rust I either remove them or use the clamps to keep the heat shield in place.

Closing this out...I ended up removing the heat shield, drilling out the bolts that were rusted, and putting the shield back on with new nuts and bolts. A pain due to tight clearances, but it cost me about 45 mins and hardware I had lying around.
