So my truck got smashed by a drunk driver while parked outside of my house. Has been at the shop for 2 months, finally ready to come home but the f#&king tire is backordered for 10 weeks.

anyone have a source for a Cooper Discoverer SST Pro 295/70/18? I’d take a suitable used tire at this point as well to hold me over.

    Thanks!

edit: should mention that tire rack, America’s/discount tire, big o, etc all have the tire online but are actually out of stock. It needs to be sitting on a shelf somewhere; Cooper is not drop shipping it.

Is your insurance company paying for a rental? 10 more weeks might be cheaper to have them buy you a new matching set of tires? Good Luck.

Nope. Hit and run, so had to go through uninsured driver side of my own insurance; that provision does not have rental coverage. My insurance company has been great tho, so no complaints on that end. Fortunately it’s a second car so I still have a driver.

I did tell them I won’t accept the car without the tire, so long term storage fees at a Toyota dealer may motivate them to just replace all 4.
