Hey all, new to this forum and I'm sure it's been talked about before but I need some advice.

Bought some Bilstien 5100 for all the way around. I've been getting conflicting advice. I've heard the middle setting on the fronts will raise the front enough to almost be level but still have a slight rake and I've heard the top setting is ideal for being level. Another person told me doing the top leve) puts the front higher then the rear? Can anyone assist and show me pictures of middle and top.

I've got a white 15 crewmax limited. It's completely stock except slightly bigger tires currently.

    Thank you in advance!

If you lift the front, you’d also want to do something with your rear. However, it’s your choice on how you want it to sit.

Personally, I wouldn’t want to only lift the front and neglect the rear.

You can get a CB+1 or 3/4” shackle to give it a minimal lift for the rear.

My truck is on 5100s all corners with front at top setting (2.3”) and rear at 3/4” lift.

In my opinion that varies based on mileage and rear leaf spring wear. My truck had 250k and rear springs were worn so I did middle setting to be safe. I have about ¾" of rake which i like. Top setting probably would have sat level for me. On a newer truck with less leaf spring wear, you'd probably have ¼"-½" rake at top setting is my guess.

I have 5100s on front, top setting. 1.5 inch spacer blocks in rear. ( from PO) Was hoping to be able to remove spacers and be level. Not the case.
My truck sits level like this.

That's weird. Your rear springs must be pretty sagged out. 5100s on top setting should be pretty close to stock rear...

Middle perch on my 08 CM with 145k. No blocks in the back. Been awhile and I no longer recall my measurements but it was a small nose down rake.
Top perch would have put me slightly nose high.

My first suspension upgrade was 5100s all around. I set the fronts at the middle setting and added a CB shim to each side. Total lift was about 2” - a little less than going with the 3rd setting and no shims. (2” is also what the TRD Pros are lifted). This made the truck level and because the coils were not as compressed, the ride quality was not impacted. IMG_2090.jpg

This is what my target was. At the last minute I decided to use top setting. Hopefully in the spring I can correct this and get rid of the rear spacer blocks.
