    2010 White Tundra Base
Hey all, I posted this in another forum 2 years ago but didnt any response so I am reposting here hoping to get some lead. I have a 2010 White Tundra Double Cab Long Bed Grade (base model, work truck) which did not come with keyless entry from the factory.

Things that the car does have from factory:
    • Power door lock/unlock
    • Power windows
    • Harness and connector for the remote controller module

First I hired a automotive locksmith thinking the previous owner just lost the fob but he was not able to communicate with the remote programing. We checked the fuse and tried different software he had but no luck

Later on, I got curious and did some research and confirmed the car did not have the keyless entry door control receiver (89741-0C041). so I ordered a used one off of ebay and got a new OEM key fob from the locksmith as well.

To present day, I have installed the keyless entry door control receiver on the passenger side C pillar. Running VCI J2534 with V17.00.020 version 1.4.8 Techstream. I was able to connect to the vehicle and got to Main Body --> Utility where I should be able to program the key fob but I was missing the options for 1.wireless code erasure 2. wireless code registeration 3. wireless door lock diagnosis mode. (the screenshot below is from another post that I am using as an example).

I tried to see if any fuse was missing since the car originally did not have keyless entry function but everything seemed like it was there.

The ask: Is there a reasonable way to add wireless etc functions back in to my car using techstream or other means?

I am trying to keep it simple and stick to OEM keyless entry if possible. Thank you in advance of any help.

Many times Techstream items will not show if the firmware ver of the cable one bought would be the hangup. The one that gives folks hardly no problem is cable firmware ver 2.0.4

Go to "customize" within the main body ECU and make sure the Wireless Control is set to ON.

Apparently it can be set to On or Off, I wonder if yours is Off from the factory and you just need to enable it
