    CECA7CE2-66FC-46F7-908E-781CFFE12DFB.jpg Have a 2004 tundra dc that I got a month ago planning to fix the paint but rides great, has 150k original motor as well please feel free to comment any tips or things I should be aware of thanks!

    Any service history on the timing belt or the lower ball joints? Two high priority items on these trucks.

    As @des2mtn said: the timing belt is the most important thing for engine health. If it snaps, you're looking at getting a new crate engine.

    The lower ball joints are also highly important.

    Here's what happens if they fail, or aren't changed.

    Only OEM for the ball joints, and bolts as well. Aftermarket is absolute trash for thkse according to some members.
