Hello tundra owners. I just joined basically because my 22 tundra spun a main bearing @ 30k miles with all the proper maintenance.. so looking around I found this site and am curious to see what other members say, especially the mechanics. I've had many trucks and have never seen this before in a new truck. I will be curious to see in other threads if people think it's the super light oil, a machining defect or something else. Thanks for taking me into the group...

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! The '22's were the most problematic year due to the total redesign. Is your still under warranty?

Bakershack, hello !! Yes I was told 5yrs or 60k miles. Spoke to dealer today. Beyond fixing it, I was told toyota does NOT extend the warrantee, which is a shame because I will be afraid to keep it beyond the that.

You might still be able to buy an extended warranty. Search this site for extended warranty. There is someone on here who can get you a good deal if your truck is still eligible.

That's what I was thinking. I only really have 2 options. #1 toyota extended warrantee or #2 I sell when I get to 60k miles. I will def. Be looking into both !! Thanx
