Hello All! I Joined the the tundra family back in March. coming from a 2012 Ram 3500 crew cab 8' bed 6.7 Cummins 6 speed G56. Completely different animal for sure. I'm a contractor and loved that truck. Then things started to break @ 100k the manual trans G56 (Mercedes built) blew. 4th gear fully let go... Rebuilt that. not even a 100mi. VGT turbo went. I know, things break... But I felt before the issues started I wasn't using the truck to its full capabilities. (Used to for sure, towing machines, etc.) So I traded it in. Enter 2015 limited crewmax 5.7 TRD Off-Road. Love the truck, miss the torque of the diesel towing the 7500lb travel trailer but it does fine enough and isn't done that frequently. I didn't want new for multiple reasons, and the '15 was still $36k with 85k on the dial. Trucks clean and I'm going through it bit by bit. so far I've replaced the shocks with Bilsteins 5100's all corners @ top on front and 2'' block in the rear as well as Timbren stops in the rear. Fluids, Falken 34X11.5 AT3'S TRD intake, Adarac rack, and color matched front bulge and sub grill, also swapped the limited grill to a honeycomb '18 one as "I" like the looks of that better with the white truck, I always buy white trucks... Just like'um that way! lol! Happy to be a part of the community! Thanks!!!
