Hello Tundra Family! Wow, I wish these forums were around in the old days...I need some insight because I became a bit overwhelmed when looking at my owner's manual and the MILEAGE on my truck. I love my Tundra, but it has close to 230K miles (229,267 actually), and I fear the dealership trying to pile on issues when I take it in for an oil change and tune-up today. The last time I handled my own tune up was on my 1963 Chevy Impala. I am not so young and strong anymore...I have attached a history sheet I keep on service from 2014 to present. The motor and transmission are original. What should I be prepared for at the dealership? Due to Covid issues, not driving much, and finances, Oil changes & fluid checks are in demand. Here is my growing list: Oil, spark plugs, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, air filter, wipers all replaced; check hoses, battery (corrosion last month caused me to be jump-started), 1 bushing for operator arm missing, power steering fluid and coolant and wiper fluids check and fill, undercarriage has not been lubricated since? I fear being taken advantage of and this costing me a fortune. Thinking maybe I should go to Oil Stop for the oil and fluids, and purchasing the spark plugs in a kit and having someone help replace the old ones. It can't be that hard. I used to gap my own plugs with the Impala, but that car had a lot less stuff under the hood. The dealership has not done right by me in the past, and that is the cause of my anxiety. I am not sure how to handle the missing bushing or cotter pin. I hear a loud squeaky noise every time I drive over a bump. I fear going on the freeway and having a wheel drop off! Any help is welcome!!!
