So, I've had My 2016 CrewMax since Sept of last year. I went to the dealership with a friend because he was looking to get a Trd Pro Tacoma. I sat in the Tundra and knew I needed to trade my Tacoma in. With family that is growing the size of the Tundra made sense. I walked out with a new vehicle and he didn't. Lol.
I didn't exactly get to pick the Tundra I wanted. In fact I hated the color at first, but It was a very low milage 2016 Sr5. Couldn't pass the deal up. Basically the previous owner took the hit on depreciation.
I've done some mods since then. Lighting, tires, leveling kit. Lots more to come. Making a SR5 Pro in the end. I look forward to sharing my journey with this Tundra.

The color has grown on me. Big time after I changed the wheels and tires.

Yea i did the Body Mount Chop. I still have rubbing up front though. I'm replacing the bumper soon and that will take care of that issue.

How much? After taking off the front half flaps and doing the mod I was able to gain about 3/4" more clearance between the front of the bumper and tire. I only have a 2" lift and 305/65R18s though

Im thinking I need another 1/2" of clearance up front. Rubs at the bottom of the bumper around the mounting holes for the front mud flap. I'm thinking it's because I'm running these 17s with 0 offset. Almost like having wheel spacers.

Welcome Chris. I didn't like that color at first but the more of 'em I see, the more I like it. You can loosen the front bumper and slide it forward. You can gain about .5". You can also cut the liner, push it forward and relocate the screws that attach it to the bottom on the bumper.
