    I live in a suburb of Richmond Virginia called Midlothian.

    Last year I helped my Mom buy a new Toyota Venza and fell in love with the new Tundra, specifically the 1794 Edition.

    My wife saw the price of a new 1794 with the hybrid engine and all the extras I wanted and laughed out loud.

    Fast forward to January 2024 and she gave me the go ahead to look for a used 2nd generation to buy.

    While looking for it I stumbled across a used 2023 1794 Edition with everything I wanted but the HUD. Best thing was it only had 5,500 miles and the original owner who bought it for his business last July decided to trade it in for a matching set of EVs for him and his wife. The truck had been serviced at the Toyota dealership for its first oil change and I got a great deal on a black tundra that I always wanted.

    The funny thing to me is I love all the chrome trim on it but my son and son-in-law who are 25 and 23 want to black it all out. Not gonna happen!

    I’m going to paint correct the micro scratches on it, ceramic coat it, and then enjoy it!
