Hello everyone, just purchased my first Tundra, a 24 SR5, 4x4 Crewcab. I've owned many Toyotas over the years, starting in 1992, but they were the small trucks. Anyhow, native Texan, just retired from the oil and gas industry. I drove a Ram 1500 Lonestar 4x4 Crewcab for the last ten years and had great service from the truck, still going strong at 156,000 miles. It was a toss-up for me between Ram and Toyota until, I realized Ram was making an engine change. Also there seems to be some turmoil at Stellantis. So i went with the Toyota. Really a little surprised to see that what were standard features on my 2015 Ram were not included on this 2024 Toyota, ie, garage door openers, blind spot warnings, turn signals in the mirrors, and parking sensors. Anyhow, seems like a good truck, time will tell. I hope I have as good or better service than my Ram. Peace from Texas.
