I've been lusting after a full sized truck for years and had always leaned toward the blue circle. Was kind of bummed I didn't grab one at the beginning of COVID when priced dropped.

I have a 2008 4runner, 2016 Sienna and now a 2016 Lexus Hybrid and I realized there is a Toyota theme around here. I remember seeing an initial picture of the Tundra and didn't like the looks, so I forgot about it.

I test drove an F-150 that was really nice about a year ago, but the price and HUGE mark up put everything on hold. Well, everything except my internet research. In one of the many truck review videos, I realized that the new Tundras look really nice.

Thanks to this form and other resources, I'm actually really close to buying one. The turbos worry me a little, but I've been using them on boats for years and many cars have them. I do tow a 21' salt water pilothouse fishing boat, so the torque will be nice.

The main thing I'm looking forward to is the comfort and some of the luxury features (cooled seats, I'm talking to you).

So, I like the looks of the Tundra and prices seem to be better than the equivalent competitors. Fingers crossed in getting one as I'm also trying to talk myself out of the magnitude of the financial decision.

    /ramble

The search is over. After getting the bait-and-switch from local dealers, I went with Longo Toyota in LA. It was a very nice buying experience. A few hours into the tuck... I'm pretty happy.
