    Hi guys,

Just joined the group, been on the Tacoma Forums for a long time, and just upgraded from a 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport DCLB. I was in the market for what seems like a unicorn Crewmax, longbox, Hybrid 4X4.... But after having been on the waitlist since the 22 Tundra was announced, I finally gave in to the fact that, it may be quite a bit longer, if ever before Toyota finally made exactly what I wanted available, especially since unlike other brands, Toyota refuses to do special orders....( This frustrate anyone else?)

So I settled for something that has everything I need, but not necessarily everything I wanted, but comes close. At the end of the day, the needs outweigh the wants!

I'm an avid skier/snowboarder and volunteer as an adaptive ski/snowboard instructor in the winter, mostly working with disabled vets, people with spinal cord injuries, and kids with cognetive/developmental disabilities. So something that could haul my skis, snowboards, and gear without having to mount something on the roof was important, based on lessons learnt from my Taco.

I'm planning to keep the truck as OEM as possible with a few exceptions. Looking forward to being part of the group, and helping in anyway I can.

    ~Ditti
PS: A picture of the truck in it's current state outside the weather tech warehouse near denver hours after taking possession of the truck.
