    Hey guys,

I recently bought a 1gt (03) with a dead battery. Looking for a quick fix to move the truck, I tired to swap my old rangers battery in. Turns out there is this whole reverse polarity thing. My dumbass even had to try jamming the wires on the bigger terminals....long story short, I have a lot of blown fuses... but my main concern is that I seem to be having alternator issues.

    Here are my questions:

Is there a fusible link on these trucks?

Could my alternator issues be caused by a different fuse being blown?

Very glad to see there is such an active forum for these trucks! This is likely the wrong spot for the question...

    Welcome from Texas!

Try this diagram. There is an alternator fuse and a main body fuse.
@Jim LE 1301 is correct that you'd be better off asking us over in the 1st gen sub as the Welcome Wagon is few.
