Hello All, new to forum.

I am purchasing a used non certified 2021 Tundra with 29k miles. I am looking for a referral to purchase an extended warranty. I reside in NY. I just spoke with a Toyota warranty specialist from headquarters. I asked if I can purchase an out of state warranty and they said yes and it would be honored at any dealership.

Good morning and welcome to the forum! I am the service manager for a Subaru dealership in TX. While we don't like warranty companies very much, because they pay us very little compared to customer pay tickets, we do like the manufacturer's warranty best. Were you not offered a third-party warranty when you were in the finance office? I know that we sell a lot of Triton plans here for non-CPO non-Subaru deals. I would contact your local dealer and speak to a finance manager about what options they have because they will be the easiest in dealing with that company on the service side if they are the ones selling it.
