    HI thrilled to be here.
Want to mod this ride for baja, cross country type driving. Crossing streams, fire roads, ect., not much rock crawling. Also want to keep the RPMs up!!!
Ive no problem with suspension as is, just want it a bit more robust.
Do I simply buy a stronger shock or strut or what?

    Suggestions, thanks...

First. What’s your budget? You’re going to spend between $10-20k to get the truck Baja or cross country ready.

Don't let a kid out smart you.
Hi From the Bay area. if ur on a lowish budget then i would recommend some Icon front shocks and their expansion pack for the rear.( its new struts and and add a leaf) If u also want to do bumpers then I highly recommend brute force fabs front bumper, they offer some sweet hoops options. and i would just take the rear bumper off, I did it and thought it looked pretty cool. Finally, for tires I would go for either some Falken Wild peak AT3W's if you want a more AT tire or Toyo RT or MT if you want some big ol meat. Hope this helped. obviously if you have a big budget you could ditch the leafs for a four link and to a long travel set up up front and go crazy but the milder the better for gas mileage ;)

You picked a heavy truck for going fast off road. Can be done but will cost you to do it right.

Buy a set of good offroad shocks (Fox, King, ADS, Icon), preferably a 2.5" body or bigger but a 2.0" will be fine if you're on a budget. And send it. You don't need to spend $20k or even $10k to have a good setup to go camping, that's ridiculous. Spend $1000 or $2000 on some fancy shocks and arms and get some tires and you'll have a very capable setup. Hell, your stock shocks are fine for most stuff. Get some decent tires and have fun.

    Here you go:

    https://www.lsksuspension.com/product-page/rampage-daily-driven-link-kit-07-tundra-crewmax-spec

That will be good for the suspension, but you'll also need fiberglass fenders and bedsides. Don't forget about regearing, 37" tires, and armor. You may want to go ahead and do a full cage while you're at it.

Alternatively you can just take your stock truck out on some trails and get an idea of how you really want to use it. Maybe your idea of Baja type driving is just going 10mph on dirt vs. hitting 70+ through whoops. The truck of your dreams may be as simple at 2.5" OEM Kings on all 4 corners and some 35" tires.

*Edited for links because leafs are for poor people.

Instead of heavily modifying a 2019 Tundra, and basically destroying its resale value, why not just trade it for something that was built from the factory for what you describe? That would obviously be a Raptor.

    Welcome.
I've been to Baja more times than I can count, always with stock suspension. Even made it back from Cabo after hurricane Juieta, talk about deep water crossings. That was in a stock 01 Tundra. The point is, the gear you carry and common sense are more valuable in Baja than the best suspension. The nicer you make your truck, the bigger the bullseye you wear. Gear should include 2 spares (I've had 2 flats at the same time in the middle of nowhere), traction boards, shovel, all necessary tools for your vehicle, compressor, tons of drinking water, etc. A big dog helps a lot too at the inspection check points.
