    I'm currently running billstein 8112s in the front, and was thinking about heavy load springs, due to the weight added to the front by the ironman off-road bumper and skid plates.

    Something around 650lb/in

    Can i use another brand for springs, or only billstein?
    They are currently out of stock..

    Thanks!

    On a crewmax, your going to want 750 lb.

    BTW Welcome to the forum from OKC!

    Thanks Dan!
    It's actually a double cab, but there is weight added to it : ironman front bumper/12000 lbs winch , and skid plates.

    Having a really hard time finding the billstein 650lb/inch or 700lb/inch.
    Found it on a website but it's out of stock; and that's the 650lb/inch . Any suggestions? Appreciate it.

    I'd still go at least 700 if it was me. If you have or will have heavy skid plates, cat shields, sliders, usual cargo loads, passengers, etc. Then I would go 750.

    Thanks, basically yea I already have skids ,heavy sliders and the usual cargo ;
    I've talked to the rep at shock surplus in LA, where I've got my shocks from, and they seem to be worried that the new springs would raise the ride outside the shock/ control arms working parameters.
    On top of that, they are saying you can't just take a eibach for example and fit it in instead of the original billstein coil, it needs some modifications to fit..

    Give Toytec a call and inquire with them.
